So what is energy work? What happens in a session? Who can do this? Is it better to be face to face or at a distance? What’s the difference? These are just some of the questions I hear when I tell people I am an energy healer who does distance work. It can be very strange to imagine that you are getting benefit from someone who isn't in the same zip code, state, or even country. Some of us have a hard time seeing beyond the physical boundaries of this world. That is perfectly fine and perfectly normal. Raise questions, challenge, that helps to boost your creative juices and can help you better understand the life in between. On this website I will be answering some of these questions. I'll try not to be too vague or too technical. If you have any questions please e-mail me and I can answer them. I also am interested in hearing any comments you may have. Anything that can help you have a better understanding. Some people just need to find their own way and I am willing to help when I can. Please be patient with me as I will be with you. Peace and Love,
Rev. Rebecca
Well I'm glad you asked. If you had not then you wouldn't be here. I hope that we both know you were brought here for a reason. This reason may not be evident now but could be brought to you in the future. So back to our topic. Distance healing in a nut shell is sending healing energy to someone from a distance. Now you're saying yeah well I kind of guessed that already. Yet here's the thing......ENERGY IS EASY! I've said this before and I'll say it some more. Energy is easy, it travels with the speed of thought and is everyone's for the taking. It does not matter if you are in the same room, state or zip code. This is distance healing.
So basically what happens in a distance energy session is the practitioner connects to the client. At this point in a face to face session the practitioner sits down and begins to take deep breaths or when they first lay their hands on the client. Making the psychic connection is very close to making a physical one. The practitioner is making contact with the client. Next the practitioner will begin by asking for guidance from angels, ascended masters, guides, etc. Welcoming in all presences that are willing to help and do good for this person. Then the practitioner does a scan of the body as a whole. Usually the body/spirit will show me exactly where to go using the "clair-s" (clairvoyance, clairsentience, etc.) The guides will tell me where to go and show me what to do. The session will come to a close when there is an energetic shift or a “verbal” queue from a guide. The practitioner will again scan the body and ask if there is anything else. Allowing time for closure and disconnection from the client the practitioner usually reseals the aura with love and light.
Well right now anyone can hang up a shingle and work. There are advantages and disadvantages to this. The disadvantage is ANYONE can say they’ll perform "energy work" on you. That means scam artists who will do anything to make a buck. Just to take your money and laugh all the way to the bank. The advantage is that there are a lot of different people who do great energy work for the love of it. Each and every person experiences energy differently just like each person experiences life differently. Each person can view you a bit differently by bringing their experience and joy to the session making each session unique as everyone is unique. For example you can get a Reiki session from 10 different people and have 10 very different experiences. That is the joy and beauty of life, love and energy.
There is no difference between face-to-face sessions and distance sessions. I have had more powerful sessions at a distance than I have in a face-to-face working on a specific issue. Only later to have a major shift in a face-to-face session on a different issue with the same person. Things will shift and change when it is time for them to. It doesn't matter if you are 2" apart or 1000 miles. Remember energy travels with the speed of thought.

And here's another question. If energy is free than why does it cost so much? Finding an experienced practitioner that is credible is very difficult to do. There are a lot of people just out there to make a buck. You should never pay for energy. It is free and it surrounds us all the time. Right now they can scientifically measure 17 different fields around the body. Who knows what will happen in the future. I am not here to tell you how not to spend your money you will get out of it what you can and will. Everything has it's perfect time and place. So to get back to the subject you should never pay for energy. What you are actually paying for in a session is not the energy, but the persons time, training and experience. Just like you would for a doctor, a hairdresser, a dentist.
So how do you know who is an expert and who isn't? Ask questions. They should be as honest and upfront as possible. They should never be afraid to say I don't know. Remember these are people too and sometimes it's difficult to transcend information from one plain to the next. It's kind like having a Word document and being forced to read it in Excel. It sometimes has gaps. They should be able to provide you with some sort of credentials. Last but not least they should care more about the work they do than the money they get from you. Most professionals seek to help and have a sliding scale for those in need.
